Commissioner Delia Turano Schadt, recently appointed by Governor Martin O'Malley, is scheduled to begin hearing cases tomorrow at the WCC's hearing site in Beltsville.
Commissioner Schadt began her legal career practicing workers’ compensation law and was employed by the Injured Workers’ Insurance Fund from 1993 until 2000. Following this, she was employed with the Maryland Office of the Attorney General where she served as Board Counsel to health occupation licensing boards.
Several attorneys from RSRM recently had the opportunity to meet Commssioner Schadt and hear her speak about her excitement to be returning to the workers' compensation arena.
